Supporting The Birchwood Centre’s Break the Cycle Campaign

At Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley, supporting the communities around us is an important part of who we are. We were therefore delighted to make a £1,000 donation to The Birchwood Centre in support of its Break the Cycle campaign.
Based in West Lancashire, Birchwood has supported people across Skelmersdale and the wider local area for more than 40 years, providing services including supported housing, mental health support, counselling and employment support.
The Break the Cycle campaign aims to help people experiencing homelessness and instability access support early, providing the safe and stable foundations needed to move forward with their lives. Birchwood is working towards a £100,000 fundraising target, which will unlock a further £250,000 from a supporter, creating a £350,000 programme designed to support around 300 people across Lancashire.
We were pleased that our £1,000 contribution could play a part in supporting that ambition, and it was particularly lovely to receive a thoughtful thank-you from the Birchwood team recognising our support for the campaign.
Strong communities are built when local charities, businesses and organisations work together, and we are proud to support an organisation providing such important help to people across West Lancashire.
A huge thank you to everyone at The Birchwood Centre for the work they continue to do. We are very pleased to play a small part in helping them continue to be there for people when they need support most.
