Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley are delighted to be supporting Southport and Ormskirk NHS Trust's Pride Awards 2016, by sponsoring the Community Care Team of Year Award 2016.
Gail Godson Director of Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley goes on to say ’having read about the above awards and being passionate about the quality of health care standards in our local community, we were obviously delighted to take Ann Marr, Interim Chief Executive, Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust up on her most kind invitation earlier this year, to support our local NHS Heroes’
We feel our organisation is an excellent fit culturally with the NHS and more importantly these awards, which recognise excellence in the NHS. In 2015, our Home Instead service based in Ormskirk, received the highest rating possible from the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under its new system, which recognises the critical importance of compliance and credits overall quality of care service.
Gail dedicated the Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley CQC rating of ‘Outstanding’ to each and every member of the care team, stating ‘they are our Superheroes’ and we are therefore delighted to help recognise and support our local NHS Heroes’ , in 2016.
This year’s awards are taking place on Friday 17 June in the Floral Hall, at Southport Theatre and Convention Centre. The evening start at 7pm with a drinks reception in the main foyer, followed by a sit down meal. The awards part of the evening starts at approximately 9:00 pm.
The particular award Home Instead are supporting recognises 'a team which has demonstrated a commitment to excellence in clinical care in the community' and we would like to wish everyone shortlisted on the night, the very best of luck and we hope they all have an enjoyable evening.
