Home Instead Senior Care has a UK wide reputation for delivering high quality care, allowing people to retain their independence and continue to enjoy the comforts of their own home.
As a reflection of the commitment to enhancing the quality of life for the elderly, Home Instead Senior Care has launched the organisation’s charity the ‘Bring Joy Foundation’.
The Bring Joy Foundation has a unique vision, to help groups and organisations across the UK put a touch of sparkle into people’s lives by funding local events and activities or rekindling favourite pastimes. In a nutshell, the charity exists to bring joy and fun back into ageing.
Getting older brings many challenges but it doesn’t have to be all doom and gloom. From day trips to the seaside to stepping out at a vintage tea dance and from gardening to golf lessons, it’s never too late to learn something new or revisit a favourite former pastime or hobby. The Bring Joy Foundation exists to fund the little things that can make a big difference to older people’s lives.
The Bring Joy Foundation openly invites applications from local community groups or organisations across the UK. Bring Joy Foundation are looking for people who want to put some ‘pizzazz’ into their passtimes or simply get a group of friends together at a special local event.
From the community perspective, if you like or share the Home Instead Senior Care culture and want to get involved and help raise additional funds to bring some joy , then the Bring Joy Foundation would be delighted to receive your kind and most valuable support.
You can contribute in so many fun ways; you might be running in a race, sit in a tub of baked beans, grow your hair long for example and look to choose the Bring Joy Foundation as one of the beneficiaries of your kind endeavours.
People can also make a personal pledge to support the charity work over a period of time that suits you. Bring Joy Foundation are also touched to receive donations in honour or memory of a loved one, as a fitting tribute to their life and legacy.
If you are a local business and you share this ethos, then you can also make a donation to support their community work.
