• What is the difference between companionship and personal care?

  Companionship care focuses on a clients social needs and daily tasks at home whereas personal care is support with daily living such as bathing or dressing.

• What does a companion do?

  Primarily our Care Professionals are there to listen and interact with our clients, providing them with a trusted, friendly face that can ease the feelings of isolation and loneliness you or your loved one may feel.

• When should I or my loved one consider companionship care?

  Older adults living alone won’t always need companionship care, it is often most beneficial for individuals who require more social interaction or feel isolated from friends and family.

• How often should I have companionship calls at home?

  When you or your loved one need different care and support such as personal care, we will meet with you to ensure you get the support that you need from your Care Professional.
