Golfing Together!

In a heart-warming effort to combine leisure, community engagement, and awareness, Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley is proud to promote the weekly golf and social event held every week at Duxbury Park Golf Club!

Embracing Joy through Swings and Laughter

This event is open to all members of the community, no skill level required. It is a perfect opportunity for those living and coping with Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and many others, to come along for some light-hearted golf-themed fun!

  • Every Tuesday
  • 11am to 1pm
  • Chorley (PR7 4AT)
  • Just £10 attendance

For two hours of company, laughter, and discussion, the event offers a unique blend of warm-ups and techniques. Getting going with some light exercises to get moving and then taking it to the range to learn and practice swings up the drive! Alongside this, there are also regular guests and speakers that attend, representing various local care service providers and local organisations.

As advocates for compassionate care to our amazing clients, we understand the importance of creating spaces where individuals living with dementia can come together and thrive! We have witnessed how this social golfing experience has had a positive, meaningful impact on the local community.

Join Us on the Green

Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley is proud to be a monthly participant in this social initiative, recognising the profound effect it has had on those who attend each week. Bringing along the opportunity for any questions or queries to be answered about the award-winning services that we provide.

In the spirit of community, let’s tee up and bring awareness for those great causes and make a positive impact, one swing at a time!
