We’re delighted to name Emmanuel Church Ormskirk as our West Lancashire Community Stars of the Month for July 2025!

This fantastic local church has become a vital community hub, offering a safe, welcoming space for people of all ages to connect, take part in activities, and access valuable support. One of their key initiatives is the Community Hub, held every Thursday from 10:00am to 1:30pm – a weekly event that brings together local services, volunteers, and residents.

Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley has had the pleasure of attending the hub on several occasions as part of a wider community drop-in, and we’ve seen first-hand the warmth, compassion, and sense of belonging that the church and its volunteers provide.

A huge well done to the amazing team of church-goers and volunteers who make all of this possible. Your continued dedication is making a real difference in the lives of so many across West Lancashire.
