Dementia Awareness Morning at Janie’s Tearoom in Burscough

This morning, Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley were delighted to be out in the local community hosting a Dementia Awareness drop-in session at Janie’s Tearoom in Burscough.
The session gave members of the community the opportunity to speak with Community Engagement Specialist, Jayne, about Dementia support, recognising the early signs, and the importance of seeking an early diagnosis.
“It was wonderful to meet and speak with so many local people throughout the morning…” Jayne said, “Helping to raise awareness and provide support in a warm and welcoming environment.”
The team would also like to thank Janie and her colleagues for being such fantastic hosts and for supporting such an important community conversation.
If you were unable to attend today’s session but would still like advice or support regarding dementia care, please contact Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley on 01695 589071 or visit the specialist care section of our website.
