Dementia Awareness Delivered at Chorley Town Hall

We were proud to deliver another FREE Community Dementia Awareness Workshop, this time at Chorley Town Hall. The event brought together a brilliant group of attendees from local organisations including Chorley Bricks, Birchall Blackburn Law, Chorley Buddies, St Laurence’s Church, and Chorley Council.

These workshops aim to provide practical knowledge and valuable insight into how we can all better understand and support those living with Dementia – whether at home, at work, or out in the community. Sessions are designed to raise awareness, encourage empathy, and spark meaningful action in creating a Dementia-friendly Chorley.

At Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley, it is a pleasure to connect with local groups and professionals who share the same commitment to making our communities more inclusive and understanding. We hope everyone who attended found the workshop both useful and thought-provoking.
