Elf-tastic
For those that follow our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram), you would have noticed that everyday our office had a new team member. A very festive member, none other than our cheeky office Elf! Everyday from the start of December to the big day on the 25th, that Elf was found in all different places! Whether he was hanging around watching over, eating all the chocolates, to lowering all the chairs in the office, he sure was mischievous! On his way out, Santa outfit-clad, he let us know that next year he’ll be back just as more Elf-powered as normal!

Community Social Groups!
Speaking of our office Elf, one place he made sure to always come along to our monthly Community Social Groups!
As usual, we were able to play a part in hosting TWO Community Social Groups last month. One in Rainford and one in Aughton. Given the wintery season, both were festive-themed with fun Christmas activities planned that all took part in. Including rounds of bingo, free mince pies on offer, as well as our special guests that attended!
In Rainford, in happy working connection with Rainford Parish Council and Elite Wills & Probate Services, we were privileged to be joined by a local ukulele band, performing some festive hits and some well-known tunes. Which got people clapping along in enjoyment.
For our CSG in Aughton, we had not one, but two local school choirs come along. Getting the joining Luncheon Club at Christ Church Ministry Centre singing along to their amazing performance!

Appreciation of Support!
Our Community Social Groups couldn’t be possible without the kind support of our local community, however. So, we would like to take this opportunity to further extend our gratitude to those that have helped out with these events over the year just gone.
Especially for out Christmas-themed CSGs. In which donations from Co-Op (Town Green), Morrisons (Ormskirk), and Booths (Burscough) allowed us to hand out some chocolate treats to those that attended our event. Giving them a little festive boost!
Swinging for Memories!
In December, our lovely Community Partnership Manager, Carol, was once again able to take a trip over to Duxbury Park Golf Course for their ‘Golf Fore the Ages’ event!
We have mentioned it on a few occasions now and will continue to do so for as long as it is still going. This event by the Golf Club is a fantastic way for people over the age of 50 with a long-term physical or mental health diagnosis to get out in their local community with likeminded individuals. To have an enjoyable morning-come-afternoon with a blend of sport, relaxation, and camaraderie.

A Very Merry Care Pro Christmas!
As it was the season of giving, we wanted to take the opportunity to give back to our incredibly dedicated team of Care Professionals! Every day, all year round, they ensure that our Clients are being provided the best quality of care, ensuring they remain safe and secure in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes! So for that, we wanted to say a big thank you for all that they do!
We did this by scheduling office Christmas parties for them all over the course of two weeks! Festive fun-filled afternoons with quizzes, games, snacks, refreshments, and handing out a little git from us to them. We hope all our Care Pros and their families had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
