Continuous Improvement to our GDPR Compliance

At Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley, we aim to be ahead of the curve in ensuring we are always fully compliant, building trust and adding an extra layer of reassurance

At Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley, as you would expect, we are regulated by numerous Governmental organisations, some unique to the Adult Social Care sector such as the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who rate us as ‘Outstanding’ and other more generic regulators.

Confidentiality and security of data is imperative within all services and adherence to GDPR guidelines helps us to ensure that we consistently achieve the very highest of standards in Adult Social Care Services.

We have just recently consulted extensively with a third-party GDPR specialists organisation. Ensuring that Home Instead West Lancashire and Chorley continues to stay ahead of the curve and remain fully compliant with GDPR regulations. This initiative has encompassed our entire business systems, including safeguarding our Clients’ personal data and enhancing the overall integrity of our high quality care services.

Through a range of channels, including one-on-one consultations, we have thoroughly assessed our entire business data systems, enabling us to proactively identify and address any potential risks and areas of improvement, as part of our ‘continuous improvement program’.

Working with a third-party specialist GDPR organisation was enjoyable and demanding at the same time, but it has reinforced and strengthened our ongoing commitment to data protection and regulatory compliance in this area.

This in turn now adds another dimension and layer of trust, security and confidence in the high-quality care services that we provide, giving our Clients, their families and their loved ones, additional reassurance, comfort and extra peace of mind.
