Bringing Dementia Support to the Heart of Chorley

Home Instead West Lancashire & Chorley was proud to be part of the recent Dementia Support Surgery held at The Bowling Green in Chorley as part of this year’s Dementia Action Week.

As a member of the Chorley Dementia Action Group, it was fantastic to join fellow local organisations and community partners in providing valuable support, guidance, and information to individuals and families affected by Dementia.

The event created a welcoming space for people to ask questions, access advice, and learn more about the Dementia support services available across Chorley and the surrounding areas. Our team was delighted to speak with members of the community about the importance of compassionate care, early support, and helping people living with Dementia remain connected and independent in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

Being involved in events like this highlights the power of local communities coming together to raise awareness and ensure nobody faces Dementia alone. We are incredibly grateful to have played a part in such a meaningful day and look forward to continuing our support throughout Dementia Action Week and beyond.
