As spring approaches we thought it would be lovely to invite some clients to a Spring Time buffet lunch which was hosted by Simon McGee and a team from Home Instead. The delicious food was served by Caper & Berry and singing by Karen Etherington which made it a delightful, relaxed and enjoyable afternoon.

For the past two years Home Instead Chichester & Bognor Regis has sponsored the Buddy Scheme at the Chichester Festival Theatre which supports those who can’t visit the theatre alone to be accompanied by a volunteer.

CFT Buddies are friendly, trained volunteers who are all passionate about sharing their love for theatre. Anyone can request a Buddy but it might be especially useful for:

  • People with physical difficulties, visual or hearing impairments who could use assistance before and during the show
  • Elderly and socially isolated people
  • Anyone on the autism spectrum or who has learning difficulties
  • Anyone who is anxious about coming to the Theatre alone
