It was an incredibly uplifting day focused entirely on supporting local heroes—those dedicated individuals caring for loved ones living with dementia.

Collaborative Care in Action

Providing the best possible guidance requires teamwork, and this event was a fantastic cross-border collaboration:

  • Insightful Demetia Talk: Our Community Engagement Officer, Jonathan, stepped up to support the Wirral team, delivering a powerful presentation filled with practical advice on navigating both the joys and challenges of daily caregiving.
  • Expert On-the-Ground Advice: Right alongside him, our wonderful Wirral colleague, Helen, anchored the Home Instead information hub, tackling tough questions and handing out vital resources to everyone who stopped by.

We want to extend a massive thank you to everyone who joined Jonathan’s talk or paused to chat with Helen. Navigating dementia can feel isolating, but events like this remind us that you are never alone on this journey.
