Next week (09–15 June 2025) marks both Carers Week and Loneliness Awareness Week β€” two important campaigns that shine a light on the challenges many people face every day.

At Home Instead Chelmsford, we’re proud to stand alongside our local community to offer support, connection, and a friendly face at two fantastic events:

Β

🧺 Communitea Picnic

πŸ“… Wednesday 11th June
πŸ•¦ 11:30am – 2:30pm
πŸ“ ARU Writtle, Fox Burrows Lane Sports Ground, CM1 3SS

Join us for a relaxed community picnic full of good company, conversation, and treats! Hosted by Kinder Essex and partners, this event is a great way to connect with others and enjoy the outdoors.

πŸ’› This event is open to everyone of all ages – there’s no cost involved at all. We’re coming together to help connect people and support Loneliness Awareness Week.
✨ Every stall (including ours!) will be offering a free activity for you to enjoy – and we’ve even got a live singer providing entertainment throughout the afternoon! 🎢
πŸ₯ͺ Just bring your own picnic, bring a friend (or make new ones there!), and enjoy a lovely day filled with connection, laughter, and community spirit.
