Oakley Grange Butchers, Hathern

Enjoy a fresh organic spot of lunch with gorgeus scenery

Oakley Grange Organic Farm, between Hathern and Shepshed, has been farmed by the Mee family since just after the First World War. Today it is a sustainable Organic Farm with busy Café which is perfect to pop in with your caregiver. They also have a delicatessen where you can pick up delicious cold cuts and cheese to enjoy at home. And for marking that milestone birthday there is a private events space in the old Grain Loft upstairs. When Richard and Inger Mee took over in 2001 the Farm turned to the organic way of life and The Café & Delicatessen was opened in 2011. Whilst Richard looks after over 600 acres of farm and its animals, Inger and her ‘front of house’ team are the welcoming and friendly faces you will see in the Café. Quite often you will also see Ratti, the Farm’s terrier, who is on ‘meet and greet’ duty and always enjoys a good fuss from elderly people.
