Following 14 years of working in the manufacturing, design and retail industry Charlotte decided to research areas where she could apply her skill set in order to really make a difference in people’s lives. The care sector, following several years of research – is an area she feels drawn to. Her passion is to ensure society is treating the elderly with the respect and time they deserve. Having learnt the current care model that is operated in the UK, Charlotte believes it is in dire need of support and better direction she hopes that by providing Home Instead care to our local Charnwood and Loughborough community, she can go some way towards supporting the larger concern.

Meet Amie, our dedicated Client and Caregiver Experience Coordinator at Home Instead. With a focus on field-based medication management, client training support, and ensuring caregiver competencies, Amie plays a crucial role in enhancing the client and caregiver experience. From managing schedules and client matches to facilitating support visits and addressing changes to client calls, Amie’s attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensures the seamless delivery of care to our clients. She left school and went to college to study Health and Social Care as from a young age supporting people was something she was very passionate about. Her experience began with an apprenticeship in a residential home and stayed on to work there for a few years. Still wanting to stay in the care industry she was keen to try Home care as she strongly believed there’s no place like home. In 2019 Amy found Home Instead Charnwood and was drawn by the amazing achievements and the high standards of care they deliver. She started off as a caregiver for Home Instead and now works alongside the office care team!

She enjoys making people happy and helping them to be the best version of themselves and truly believes working within the care industry is the most fulfilling job you could have and was drawn to Home Instead due to their high standard of care. She is so proud to be part of this brilliant team.

As the front-of-house/marketing and Community Engagement Coordinator at Home Instead Charnwood, I’m driven by a personal mission inspired by the memory of my dear grandad. With a background in children’s entertainment and a degree in graphic design, I never imagined a career in the care industry. However, the loss of my dear grandad ignited a passion for making a difference. As the Front-of-House, Marketing, and Community Engagement Coordinator at Home Instead Charnwood, I strive to build connections, foster community engagement, and advocate for compassionate care with a warm heart and welcoming demeanour honouring my grandad’s memory.
