Dementia sensory garden is on it's way!

The Home Instead Charnwood office have decided to start the project of a Dementia Sensory Garden behind their shop on Church Gate, Loughborough.

The garden originally started out as an overgrown bush space but now has been thoroughly cleared out to find the original features of the garden with bricked flooring, pathways and raised beds as such.

The plan for this garden is to ensure there is something for everyone, we plan on having a sheltered area for people to sit in, there will plants and different items to enhance smell, touch and hearing.

The office team hope to get this garden to best it possibly can be to allow our lovely CareGiver’s and clients to enjoy and also for the local community to use or visit.

The Home Instead Charnwood team are looking for any gardeners, pavers, garden designers, fencers, etc that would be interested in becoming involved in such a massive project for those in the community and to help enhance lives.

Do you know anyone that would be able to help with this project?
