Home Instead Charnwood’s Older Person’s Information Day brought together local businesses, healthcare providers, and community groups to offer valuable support and resources.
Our recent Older Person’s Information Day was a resounding success, bringing together 15 local businesses dedicated to supporting the elderly community. With the presence of the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Charnwood, the day served as a reminder that the local community stands strong for its elderly population.
We are proud to announce that Older Person’s Information Day was a tremendous success! Hosted by Home Instead Charnwood and featuring 15 local businesses, the event was dedicated to supporting the older and elderly community during a time of uncertainty. With the current political and societal climate, we understand how overwhelming the future can feel for our older generation, and this event aimed to show that their local community cares deeply and is here for them.
From healthcare providers to social support groups, we had a fantastic turnout of businesses offering valuable resources to help older adults live healthy, connected, and independent lives. The engagement and dedication of the businesses were inspiring, and their commitment to providing support made the day even more meaningful for everyone involved. It was a personal highlight watching all these wonderful and compassionate professionals all mingle and interact with each other and share their services and the wonderful things they do with attendees and our guests of honor.
A special highlight was the attendance of the Deputy Mayor and Mayoress of Charnwood, who took the time to interact with attendees and stallholders alike. Their visit truly underscored the importance of events like this, where the community can come together to uplift and support those who need it most.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to the event’s success and to those who joined us on the day. The positive feedback we received only reinforces our commitment to continuing this important work.
Together, we’ve shown that even in challenging times, the power of community is unwavering. We look forward to organising more events like this and continuing to provide support and care to the elderly in our community.
Thank you again for your continued support!
