stroll among this splendid historic park.
If you fancy getting out of the house, why not escape to the peace and tranquillity of a medieval deer park, the childhood home of Nine Day Queen Lady Jane Grey. The main entrance is in Newtown Linford, but you can also access the park from Cropston (Hallgates) and Old John (Hunts Hill). You and your carer can enjoy a pleasant stroll among this splendid historic park. Take along a picnic or buy a cup of tea or lunch at one of the two tearooms. It makes for the perfect day out and the paths are very good for wheelchairs.
