Women’s Football Celebration

In August we kept things current by Rise dedicating a modified sporting session to Women’s Football.

We practiced all our ball skills along with goalkeeping saves and throws, to prepare us for a game.

Mike from Rise divided us into 2 teams “The Red Dragons” and “The Cardiff Blues” – although competition was very close, “The Red Dragons” won by a single point.

The fun was given a healthy mix of questions interspersed with the sporting exercises.

Visual prompts such as pictures of flags were used, along with some mental maths and general knowledge.

We all had a wonderful time singing along to our favourite songs as we played.
