Snowball Fights at Whitchurch

At our last Whitchurch Memory Café session for 2023 we had a festive session delivered by Suzy from Rise.

The ball games were all themed around Christmas, which culminated in a snowball fight when 2 x team members were “attacked” from both sides as they walked down the middle of both teams.

Lots of questions around words associated with Christmas, as well as a chance to guess the Christmas carol from segments of instrumental sections of music.

Energy was kept up with some mince pies and Christmas cake, and lovely hot drinks from the Ararat café.

At the end Jane from the café team was presented with our donated wooden Christmas tree for the church, decorated by the group in November.

Tony Denning was also thanked for his woodwork skills in the making of the tree, which he did to raise funds for the Amelia Trust Farm.

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year on 2^nd January 2024.
