Sharing Sporting Memories

At our Whitchurch Memory Café Session in May, we had a wonderful Sporting Memories taster session facilitated by Rob Baker.

We started off by hearing about all the groups they run across Cardiff and The Vale, and then we all said our names and a bit about what we liked in sports, whilst holding a rugby ball.

It was nice to learn things about one another in this way.

We split into 2 x teams and battled it out with a quiz, an Indoor Curling competition, followed by a “Spot the Ball” guessing game.

In the end there was only one point in it and we had two medal winners for their outstanding contributions.

We made good use of the lovely café at the Ararat Church, where staff really looked after us.

We look forward to seeing everyone again soon.
