Netball Action at the Whitchurch Memory Cafe

Netball Action In Whitchurch

In March, Rise facilitated an exciting session of netball for our Whitchurch Memory café attendees.

Some great games were played to sharpen our ball skills and team playing.

Our professional guest was Trevor Durham from Centurion Chartered Financial Planners – Chartered Financial Planning for Individuals and Professionals (centurioncfp.co.uk) and he was very talented at the target practice.

If you would like to join us for our next session in Whitchurch on Wednesday 3rd April, call 02920 569483 to find out more or email Chrissy on [email protected]

Our Memory Cafes are a fun, safe space for people living with dementia and their carers/loved ones to make friends and socialise.

Dementia is becoming ever more prevalent in older people as we start to live longer. But we’re also getting more adept in recognising the signs and achieving an early diagnosis. With or without a diagnosis, people still need help retaining as much independence as possible. Early support can help families establish care as part of a daily routine, helping those with memory loss to remain independent. At Home Instead we know how challenging it is caring for someone with dementia, but our years of experience mean we are experts in providing effective, compassionate and dignified dementia care at home.
