Mixed Sports In Penarth

Mixed Sports In Penarth

In February we were delighted to have Ian from Rise deliver their seated, modified sports session.

We enjoyed football, rugby, hockey, curling, and relays, all from the safety of our chairs.

Our Memory and Movement cafes are designed to support people with any neurological condition alongside their unpaid carers.

With free refreshments and different activities to keep both mind and body working, we hope to offer a high value experience to our lovely attendees.

We also have a well-stocked resources table to encourage people to access other community support.

Zsofia from Cardiff Met joined us to see if our attendees wanted to help co-produce a different type of exercise for dementia.

As a passionate community player we encourage the co-production of support services to ensure they are accessible by those who need to access them.

If you would like to join us our next session Monday 9th March at 11am – see flyer for details.

If you or a loved one have neurological issues and would value some home support to retain your independence, then click here for more information – Neurological Care At Home | Home Instead
