FAN Group Comes To Whitchurch Memory and Movement Cafe
In January we had Sarah from FAN groups come along to run a wonderful taster session.
These groups were originally provided to help non English speakers to practice their language skills, to better integrate into local communities.
They are very popular with all sorts of people who value the chance to be a part of facilitated talking group where they are given the space to share their experiences on a chosen theme and also be heard.
Our theme was “things we enjoy doing” and it was a lovely way for us to better get to know one another in the group.
Our Memory and Movement café is open to anyone with neurological conditions as well as their unpaid carers.
Our activities are always designed to keep people social and staying as well as possible, for as long as possible.
