Appointment as a result of friendly recommendation

Home Instead Senior Care, who provide at-home care to older people to allow them to live independently in their own homes, in and around the Cannock area, is delighted to announce the appointment of Jo Boothby as Recruitment and Retention Manager, as the team continues to grow.

Jo from Penkridge, heard about the opportunity with Home Instead from a friend, and after doing background research on the company, knew immediately that this was the right company for her, impressed specifically with Home Instead’s philosophy. She is a qualified nurse with 10 years’ experience and before joining Home Instead she worked as a Training and Development Manager for a Domiciliary Care Company, so had a great deal of relevant experience. 

Jo’s role will involve; recruiting more caregivers to the existing team, providing training, and offering support. Jo said: “I’m really excited to be getting stuck into my new role at Home Instead, and being able to make a real difference. I understand the care sector and could clearly see that Home Instead were doing things differently. Recruiting caring and compassionate individuals, will be a key focus of my role.” 

Outside of her caring career, Jo is extremely keen on keeping fit and supporting charities and has just completed the Race for Life.
