Why Home Instead Dementia Care may be right for you

Living with dementia brings unique challenges, but remaining in familiar surroundings can provide invaluable comfort and stability. Our Care Professionals are specially trained to support with memory prompts, gentle reminders, and creating consistent routines that help reduce anxiety and confusion. We understand that mealtimes can become particularly challenging, which is why we take time to prepare nutritious meals that consider changing preferences and abilities, encouraging independence where possible while providing support when needed. As cognitive abilities change, our flexible care packages adapt too, starting perhaps with companionship and light support, gradually increasing care hours as needs evolve.

Every day I am grateful to have come across Home Instead. From the minute I contacted them the entire team has been an absolute joy to work with. Professional, caring, understanding and compassionate – there’s nothing I can fault with this wonderful team. My nan absolutely adores her carer. They have such a wonderful bond and for that I am eternally grateful. Her carer is not only a wonderful companion but also goes above and beyond to help my nan in so many ways. Exceptional service all around – thank you so much ladies! We appreciate you so much.

Home Instead (Cannock) provide care and support to our mother. Their support is invaluable to us as a family. Their attention to detail is everything you could ask for. My sister lives in Yorkshire and I continue to nurse, we cannot praise this company enough for giving us back peace of mind knowing each day a caring friendly face is not only looking after Mom but also taking the stress off our father. Through the app on our phones, we are able to check each day who has been in to see Mom, which is very reassuring. Every member of the team has taken the time to get to know our parents, sharing snippets of their own lives which both our parents value and enjoy. we receive weekly notification of who will be visiting our parents the following week. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the office staff who are so caring and professional. Placing the care of a family member into other peoples hands can be a very stressful experience Home Instead take away all of that .
