Families may live together in a multi-generational setting, or spouses may still need to go to work, but a loved one needs support during the day. We provide a day care service for the elderly and can arrange times that best suit the individuals. We have some clients who need a full morning or afternoon a couple of times a week to give some respite to a family carer, or for the working family we support all day every day and take care of all the housekeeping, meal prep and companionship and/or personal care for the client. At Home Instead Cannock and Burntwood, we aim to provide a tailored service to suit your individual needs and requirements. Daycare can be very structured and include medication administration, daily tasks and routines, or it can focus around recreational activities and be provided on more of an ad hoc basis where the client will just see what they feel like doing in the moment. Our skilled care professionals are adaptable to situations and once they get to know their clients, will be able to suggest activities that will have the most appeal. It is mostly appealing to people with mild to moderate cognitive abilities or people with limited mobility. We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Home Instead (Cannock) provide care and support to our mother. Their support is invaluable to us as a family. Their attention to detail is everything you could ask for. Through the app on our phones, we are able to check each day who has been in to see Mom, which is very reassuring. Every member of the team has taken the time to get to know our parents, sharing snippets of their own lives which both our parents value and enjoy. we receive weekly notification of who will be visiting our parents the following week. We would also like to say a huge thank you to the office staff who are so caring and professional.
