Its an independent tearoom in a charming old building situated in the historic village of Blackmore known for its connections to Henry VIII and ancient Priory Church of St Lawrence dating back to 1135. It is a place to relax and enjoy the food, surroundings and to observe the many cyclists who are attracted to this venue.  You certainly won’t go wrong dropping into this lovely little shop and enjoying the local atmosphere and the very helpful staff. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the food always looks attractive and has plenty of filling, side salad and extras.  There is an extensive takeaway menu including jacket potatoes, baguettes, paninis, sausage rolls, sandwiches, cakes, ice cream and plenty of sweet treats.

Upminster Garden Centre is part of the British Garden Centres UK.  Located off Nags Head Lane, Coffee Haven is the café on site which serves tasty breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea, its also the perfect place to catch up with friends or for browsing.

The café serves jacket potatoes, bagels, omelette, baguettes and sandwiches which are fresh and tasty. This is a pleasant and relaxing place to visit and meet friends with friendly and helpful staff.

The café on the water services delicious meals and sweet treats including breakfast served from 9am, sandwiches, paninis, jackets potatoes, drinks and cakes. The café has been newly refurbished with a stylish fitted interior and a large decking outside area to enjoy in the nice weather over looking the water. Merrymeade is a Vintage Tea room in Brentwood overlooking beautiful grounds, ideal for breakfast, lunch and afternoon teas.  Merrymeade provide delicious sandwiches, homemade cakes catering for all allergies and dietary requirements, provide both take away and eat in options.  The staff are incredibly welcoming and helpful with fantastic view overlooking the grounds from the library.  The tea room gets very popular so is recommended to book in advance and weekends are often booked for special functions.
