At Home Instead Beverley & Hull we are registered with the CQC to provide personal care. This includes assistance with any of the daily activities that are essential for maintaining a person’s hygiene, health, and well-being. These tasks are usually related to self-care and are often needed as we get older or when our mobility is reduced. Sometimes just the peace of mind of knowing someone is in the house during a bath or shower enough to feel safe, but if more assistance is needed, then our team is very happy to support these activities to reduce the risk of falls and ensure our clients are able to stay safe.

Our aim when providing personal care is to support our client’s dignity and independence while ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Our care is tailored to suit each person’s preferences, comfort level and encourages independence. This helps to foster a sense of well-being and improves quality of life.
Our Care Pros assist with all aspects of personal care including medication support, personal hygiene, oral hygiene, assistance with dressing, using the toilet and incontinence products, and assistance with eating and hydration. We will support whatever is needed to help our clients remain independent, and crucially, as an individual’s needs change, we will adapt our support to fit their changing needs.
What we do to care for your loved ones
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.

We have used Home Instead for over a year now. Mum has the same carers in rotation. The ladies engage with mum, and those who visit at weekends take her out for walks or to garden centres or just a trip out to get ice cream. She really enjoys her visits. The ladies who call are kind and caring and have all formed a bond with mum who has advancing Alzheimer’s. Mums needs have changed in the last year, she is more unstable on her feet and now needs assistance with her personal care. The carers have adapted to her needs and are very supportive of her. I recently needed more calls to mum as I was unable to visit. With just a few hours notice I was provided with cover the same day I requested it. I doubt other companies could do this. I have two friends who have also used the services of Home Instead, they also thought that the service provided was excellent. I would highly recommend Home Instead.
