Join Home Instead Antrim, Ballymena and Carrickfergus for competitive pay, one-hour visits, comprehensive training and real team support.
If you’re looking for work that fits around your life and actually means something, Home Instead Antrim, Ballymena and Carrickfergus could be your next step. We’re more than just a care provider; we’re a team that values people, invests in training, and supports every individual to grow.
Whether you’re exploring a new path, returning to work, or searching for a better way to do care, we’re here to support your success from day one.
We believe high-quality care starts with a happy, well-supported team. That’s why we do things differently:
You’ll begin with a thorough induction and shadowing period, followed by ongoing mentoring and support. Want to progress further? We offer City & Guilds Assured dementia training and support to pursue care qualifications like NVQs.
Our visits are always a minimum of one hour. That means no rushing, no shortcuts, and no burnout. You’ll have time to build real relationships and deliver care that feels right for clients and for you.
Your time matters, so our pay rate takes into account your travel between visits. We offer competitive hourly rates that reflect the full scope of your role, not just the time spent in the home.
You’ll have regular check-ins, access to on-call support, and plenty of opportunities to chat with the office team. We also hold informal coffee mornings and team gatherings because good care starts with good connections.
We care for our team as much as we care for our clients. That includes regular supervisions, wellbeing resources, and open conversations whenever you need them.
We take the time to match you with clients and make proper introductions. We encourage shared feedback, team development, and ongoing learning, because you matter here.
Whether you want part-time hours or a long-term career, we’ve got options to suit:
– Care Professional: Supporting people with companionship, personal care, and help around the home
– Mentor or Trainer: Supporting new team members once you’re experienced
– Scheduler or Care Coordinator: Making sure visits are consistent and well-organised
– Recruitment/Admin Support: Helping the office run smoothly behind the scenes
– Leadership & Management Roles: Opportunities to grow into senior or office-based positions over time
Many of our team started with no formal care experience and have gone on to build full careers. If you want to progress, we’ll help you get there.
Whether you’re experienced or just curious about care work, we’d love to talk. You can apply online or give us a ring on 028 2544 0800 to chat through what it’s like to be part of the team.
At Home Instead Antrim, Ballymena & Carrickfergus, you’re not just filling a shift, you’re building something meaningful. Join a team that treats care as a career, not just a job.
