Home Instead Aylesbury Vale has joined forces with The Crackin’ Crafting
Community Club in Wing to deliver presents to vulnerable adults this festive season.
One of our CAREGivers, Jeanette, who has been with Home Instead for
over a year, is an active member of The Crackin’ Crafting Community Club in Wing.
Every Christmas, the group collect and donate boxes of goodies and presents to local charitable organisations.
For their 2016 project, Jeanette suggested that several of our elderly clients at Home
Instead Aylesbury Vale will not have any visitors this Christmas and possibly no
presents – this lead to some fantastic work from the team, guided by Jeanette
and her fellow club member, Maggie.
Our CAREGiver, Jeanette and Maggie. Both members of the Crackin' Crafting
Community Club
The 22 goodie boxes include luxury bathing toiletries, slippers, hand knitted blankets,
confectionery and food. Each box is individually packaged and labelled specifically for each of our clients.
As well as the beautiful gifts, careful presentation has been applied - even down to embroidered motifs for each recipient.
We cannot wait to give these presents to our clients – thank you for considering our
elderly community this Christmas!
