Brendoncare

Travis Dodkin is a Volunteer Relationship Administrator for Brendoncare, a charity that provides care and support for older people in the UK. In his role, Travis works closely with volunteers who run Brendoncare's community clubs, which are designed to combat social isolation and loneliness among older people.
During his appearance on the Older Wiser Together podcast, Travis spoke about the importance of community clubs in helping older people stay connected and engaged. He explained that many older people struggle with loneliness and isolation, particularly if they have lost a spouse or friends, or if they have health problems that make it difficult to leave their homes.
Brendoncare's community clubs provide a safe and welcoming space for older people to come together, socialize, and take part in a variety of activities. The clubs are run by volunteers who give their time and energy to make sure that members feel supported and included.
