Every year at Home Instead, we run an anonymous survey with our clients, Care Professionals, and office team. It gives everyone the chance to share how we’re doing and where we could improve – although we like to think they’d tell us anytime! 😊
Home care continues to play a vital role in supporting individuals who want to remain independent, safe, and comfortable in their own homes. To better understand experiences and expectations around home care services, we value our annual PEAQ Pursuing Excellence by Advancing Quality survey. The results offer vital insights into what matters most and where improvements can make the biggest impact.
We’ve just received the results from the survey that went out in November 2025 and will be sharing the feedback throughout the coming month.
First up: feedback from our wonderful clients. As we have two offices – Home Instead Maidenhead, Henley & Wallingford and Home Instead Abingdon, Didcot & Newbury – we’ve combined the results.
We’re absolutely delighted to share that 100% of our clients would recommend us. What fantastic feedback – and something we’re incredibly proud of!
The survey revealed high overall satisfaction with our home care. We aim to significantly improve quality of life, especially for individuals managing chronic conditions. We know the importance of receiving care in a familiar environment, which helps reduce stress, promote emotional well-being, and maintain independence.
We pride ourselves on our compassion, reliability, and professionalism. Trust in Care Professionals coming into your home is essential, which is why our clients know that receiving support from us at Home Instead, supporting local people in the area since 2012 and highly recommended can make a meaningful difference in daily life.
As our clients see the same Care professionals each visit, they benefit from building personal connections which help our clients feel more comfortable and respected, reinforcing the human side of care.
A major takeaway from the survey is the positive impact home care has on both clients and their families. Clients reported feeling safer and more supported at home, while family members noted reduced stress and greater peace of mind knowing their loved ones were receiving professional care.
This reassurance was especially important for families balancing work, caregiving responsibilities, and long-distance support.
The survey results reaffirm the value of home care services. By focusing on compassionate caregivers, consistent service, and strong communication, we will continue to meet the evolving needs of individuals and families.
We thank all our clients and their loved ones who participated in the survey. Your feedback helps shape even better care.
