Newbury Office Opening Event

We had a fantastic day in mid. November to celebrate the opening of our office in Newbury. Home Instead Abingdon, Didcot and Newbury is now based at The Courtyard on London Road, just at the top of the main shopping street by the clocktower. Our Care Manager, Jade, will be based here and will grow the team of both office members and Care Professionals from this location. We have training facilities there too, so Paddy, our Learning and Development manager will be over regularly to share his expertise with new and existing members of the care team. So we are very excited to be party of the community in Newbury.

We had a few Care professionals pop in on the day of our launch, some local professionals who are in the care industry and who we are keen to work with going forward. We were delighted when one of our clients wives popped in to see us too. And The Mayor of Newbury also came to visit, spending a great deal of time with us, finding out about how Home Instead supports people and enables them to live well in their own homes, by offering companionship support, home help and personal care on an hourly or live in basis.

We are so pleased to have such a great base now in Newbury and are looking forward to 2024 when we can start supporting even more people in and around Newbury, Abingdon & Didcot with high quality, person centred care.
