July was a month full of community connection, team growth, heartfelt celebrations, and standout moments of care here at Home Instead Yeovil, Sherborne & Bridport.
We’re now using Trustist, a new review platform that brings together all our online review pages in one place — making it even easier for clients and families to leave feedback.
You can also view our review score and feedback directly on our website.
Whether you prefer Google, Facebook, homecare.co.uk or want to leave a review directly on Trustist, it’s all linked in one simple page. Trustist also has its own review page for Home Instead, so if you’ve had a positive experience, we’d love for you to share it there!
Your kind words mean so much to our team and help others feel confident in choosing the care we provide.

We were pleased to welcome Ian from the Partnership & Community Engagement team at Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service, as we officially joined this important community safety scheme.
This new partnership enables us to identify clients who may be at risk and refer them for free Home Fire Safety Visits and Risk Assessments. Our care team is also receiving guidance on how to spot potential fire hazards during consultations and reviews — helping us act swiftly and keep our clients safe in their own homes.
You can find out more about Home Safety Visits here:

Together, we’re taking steps to build a safer community for everyone.
We were delighted to welcome our newest Care Professionals to the team this month! After completing their training, they’re ready to begin their journey with Home Instead, supporting clients in Yeovil, Sherborne and Bridport areas with compassion and confidence.
We’re so excited to see the positive difference they’ll make in the lives of those they care for.

This month we celebrated work anniversaries and birthdays — not only for our clients and Care Professionals but also for our wider team. A special shoutout goes to our Director, Mark, who marked his 5th anniversary with Home Instead.
Huge thanks to Ness for the beautiful cake — it made the celebration extra sweet!
We’re incredibly proud to recognise Sophie and Kirsty as our Care Professionals of the Month for July, for their outstanding care, dedication, and compassion.
Sophie is being recognised for not one, but two moments where she truly shone:
Clients and families describe her as “lovely, wonderful, and very caring” — and we couldn’t agree more.
Kirsty is being recognised for her kindness, creativity, and thoughtfulness. She baked a beautiful homemade cake decorated with flowers for client MS’s birthday — a gesture that left MS emotional and deeply touched.
Beyond that, Kirsty consistently brings a warm and caring presence to her visits and goes above and beyond every day.
Thank you, Sophie and Kirsty, for being such shining examples of what it means to care from the heart.
We’re grateful to all our team members, clients, and community partners for making July a month to remember. Here’s to continuing to grow, care, and celebrate together in the months ahead!
