At Home Instead, we never stop training our staff. We believe that to be a CAREGiver with us, you have to a BIG HEART and to have a passion and vocation to make a difference to someone's life through care and support. Care at home requires not only support and attention, but also the right training to do the best job possible!
That is why we put our CAREGivers through as many training courses as possible. As well as our induction training and moving and handling , we also offer training in Safe Handing of Medication , Principles of End of Life Care, Mental Health awareness, Parkinson's, Stroke Awareness, Incontinence, Visual Impairment training, as well as our new Home Instead, City and Guilds accredited Alzheimer's and Other Dementia Training.
We are also about to embark on Motor Neurone Disease training, very special to Clare Jefferies - Director of the Wimbledon and Kingston office, whose father died of the condition and was Clare's inspiration for setting up Home Instead locally.
