A huge welcome to Louise Foster, who joins the team as Care Co-ordinator here at Home Instead. Louise shares the same desires as the rest of us, striving to provide the best care possible to ensure people can live independently at home for as long as possible.
Louise grew up surrounded by people who care, both her mother and sister are also in the caring profession, so it was only natural that Louise would end up looking after people. She has worked in a Residential Care home specialising in Alzheimer's and Dementia care, so she has seen and supported many living with a diagnosis of Dementia, through the early, middle and into the most difficult end stage. Louise comes to us having experienced the scheduling of 15 minute calls in her last care company, so is delighted to be working for company that really cares.
As a Care Co-ordinator at Home Instead, she understands the pressures of looking after someone with complex needs and the need for continuity of care. So her role is to focus on scheduling CAREGivers’ weekly rotas, ensuring that continuity is maintained and from that a trusting relationship is built between the Client and CAREGiver.
