Home Instead Monthly Community Memory Drop In within the Morrisons Café Wetherby

Join Home Instead and Alzheimer's Society Carolyne Threadgold at a community Memory Drop In Session every third Tuesday of the month at Morrisons Café, Wetherby.

Home Instead Wetherby, Alzheimer’s Society and Morrisons Superstore Wetherby have teamed up to provide a fantastic opportunity for those affected by dementia.

This informative and practical session takes place at Morrisons Café, 7 Horsefair Centre, Wetherby, LS22 6FL from 12 noon til 1.30pm and is available to everyone.

Local dementia experts are on hand including Alzheimer’s Society and Memory Support Worker, Carolyne Threadgold, and Home Instead Wetherby’s Dementia Friend, Heather Welsh.  Providing professional advice and family-centred support to help those affected by dementia.  We are often joined by additional representatives of other leading professionals offering further information and advice including Rainbow Care Group.

We are able to offer:

  • support and advice on where to find out more about organisations supporting carers and family members supporting someone living with dementia
  • information and guidance on financial and practical support available
  • groups and organisations who specialise in dementia care locally
  • training and education opportunities for those caring for a loved one with dementia locally

2024 dates are:  Tuesday, 19th March, 16th April, 21st May, 18th June, 16th July, 20th August, 17th September, 15th October, 19th November, 17th December.
