On Friday 13th June, Home Instead Weston-super-Mare,Clevedon & Burnham-on-Sea are hosting a specialist community event in the Sovereign Centre. TheHealth Care Information Day will see 24 local companies, charities and support groups coming together to exhibit their services to members of the public attending. All the companies attended are related in one way or another, to helping the aging population live well at home for as long as possible. Whether this is with support from the Alzheimer’s Society, a home safety check from Avon Fire & Rescue, hot meals from Community Meals on Wheels delivered to your door, Advice on arranging power of attorney from Wards Solicitors, or exploring your home care options with Home Instead, there should be something to help everyone! The event is on from 11am – 2pm in the central walkways of the Sovereign Shopping Centre. This venue is wheelchair accessible, has disabled parking bays, and accessible toilet facilities.
