The Care Managers were helpful in planning appropriate graduated care as well as explaining and connecting with other services like district nursing and equipment loan services, never overselling their service. Receiving good care when you are elderly, frail, and vulnerable is so important but difficult to find. The Home Instead app allowed me to see each visit documented. Knowing that she was so well taken care of was such a relief as both my brother and I lived many hours away. I will always be grateful for the special attention that my mother received that allowed her to pass away peacefully at home. It is the sort of service every elderly person should receive but many sadly don’t.

They did light housework and the laundry. This carried on for a couple of years. When mum reached 102, she needed more support and once again we asked Home Instead for help.
