Home Instead Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich has been supporting a number of initiatives for older adults in our communities and is so pleased to be able to support one such initiative, Sing4All. Sing4All is a West Dulwich-based charity that runs a group that combines singing with games and activities.
The aim of this programme is to help people bond while enjoying themselves. One of the activities they run is a community choir that encourages individuals living with dementia to come and sing their hearts, meet new people, and, of course, enjoy a lovely cup of tea.
A number of our clients here at Home Instead Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich attend the choir and have all said how wonderful it is as not only does it gives them something to look forward to, it brings the community together to enjoy a feel-good activity.
Owner & Director, Tony O’Flaherty of Home Instead Wandsworth, Lambeth & Dulwich was so moved by the Sing4All Group and the joy it brings clients that he donated £500 towards the charity and its mission.
The choir is comprised of men and women, seasoned singers and those who have never sung before! Whatever your background or experience, they would love to have you join their welcoming group.
