At Home Instead St Helens, we’re proud to be stepping up for Dementia Awareness Week to support Alzheimer's Society UK, from 19th to 25th May, and we’re inviting you too!
This year, we’re taking on a powerful virtual challenge: a walk/bike ride to Buckingham Palace and back home, covering a total of 377.4 miles. Every mile we move is in support of the Alzheimer’s Society UK and the vital work they do for those affected by dementia.
But this is more than just a charity event! It’s a community movement.
Dementia touches the lives of nearly 1 million people across the UK. Behind every diagnosis is a family, a caregiver, a friend. That’s why we’ve opened our doors—and our hearts—to invite local businesses, residents, and supporters to walk and ride alongside us.
Together, we’re raising awareness, building connections, and helping fund life-changing support and research.
How to get involved:
Every stride counts.
Let’s make Dementia Awareness Week one to remember—for all the right reasons.
💙 Let’s walk. Let’s ride. Let’s remember. Let’s raise hope.
Together, we can make a real difference.
