The Home Instead Dementia Care home care team, here to help the Marshside community

At Home Instead, our dementia care in Marshside is tailored to meet the unique needs of each person we support. We understand that living with dementia presents distinct challenges, which is why our Care Professionals receive City & Guilds Assured Dementia Training – the only home care company to offer this gold standard preparation. Our team members don’t wear uniforms, helping clients feel more comfortable with what feels like a friend popping by rather than a formal carer. We’ve designed our service around what really matters: providing personalised support that evolves with changing needs, whether that’s an hour of companionship daily or comprehensive overnight care as symptoms progress.

Why Home Instead Dementia Care may be right for you

Living with dementia can make familiar surroundings incredibly important for maintaining a sense of security and wellbeing. Our home-based care allows your loved one to remain in their home, surrounded by cherished memories and personal belongings that help anchor their sense of identity. We understand that routines become vital anchors as cognitive changes occur, which is why our Care Professionals take time to learn and maintain the daily patterns that provide comfort and stability. The flexibility of our care means we can adjust our support as needs change – perhaps starting with medication reminders and companionship during early stages, then adapting to provide more comprehensive support with personal care and mobility as required.

Client with dog - Home Instead

The excellent care my Mum received from all the caregivers allowed her to be in her own home for longer than we could have hoped. The sensitivity shown to her growing needs through dementia was greatly appreciated. We had real peace of mind that she was well looked after by a regular team of carers.  The communication with office staff certainly made things run smoothly.

Client with Care Professional - Home Instead

Home Instead have been an absolute Godsend to our family.  All through lockdown they never let us down.  Nothing was ever too much trouble. The staff in the office and on the ground are always helpful, supportive, reliable, caring and respectful. I would highly recommend their care.

Home Instead Southport have proved invaluable over the last two and a half years. Dad always wanted to stay in the house that he moved to in 1971 – the home in which he and Mum raised the family. With the support of his lovely Caregivers, Dad managed to do this until the week before he died – aged 98. I have no hesitation in recommending Home Instead Southport.

The service my father received form Home Instead Southport was life-changing.  Since he started receiving a morning visit each day, his physical and mental health has markedly improved, so after two years of care, he seems two years younger.  The care was reliable and tailored to what he needed, and the carers were kind, competent and fun.

It was wonderful, it was a load off my mind.  Thank you very much.
