If you’re looking for a fun day out feeding the ducks in Southport, then head to Marine Lake. Located at the end of Lord Street, this is one of Southport’s most iconic landmarks and a great place to have some duck-feeding fun. The lake is surrounded by beautiful gardens and parkland, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll after your duck-feeding session. Plus, there are plenty of benches dotted around where you can sit back and watch as the ducks gobble up their lunch.

Formby Beach Bird Sanctuary

Formby Beach Bird Sanctuary is another great spot if you want to feed the ducks in Formby. Located on Victoria Road just off Formby Beach, this sanctuary covers 30 acres of sand dunes which are home to a variety of birds including black-headed gulls, herring gulls and oystercatchers—as well as plenty of hungry ducks! This sanctuary is maintained all year round and it’s free to visit (however donations are welcome).
