  • The Atkinson Centre is Southport’s home for music, theatre, art, literature and history.  Situated in the middle of the iconic Lord Street, this is an exciting and varied destination for visitors of all ages with a range of activities taking place throughout the day and some evenings.   • Another great activity takes place on the first Wednesday of the month at The Richmond on Scarisbrick New Road.  Between 12.30 and 4, there is a pensioners lunch club hosted by the Richmond and Home Instead. There is a slap up 2 course meal with tea and coffee, following which there is live entertainment and bingo with some fantastic prizes.  A really friendly event that is well attended by people from the local community.  Booking is essential for this popular event.
