Charity Pub Quiz for Home Instead Charities

Charity Pub Quiz for Home Instead Charities

Ready to put your thinking caps on for a fantastic cause?

Join us for a fun-filled evening hosted by Nation Radio’s Gary Parker at the Sir Joseph Paxton.
We’re bringing the community together for a night of laughs, friendly competition, and fundraising
to support the Locks Heath Companionship Café.

This event is part of Home Instead Charities, helping to provide vital connection for those in our
local area who need it most.

The Companionship Café in Locks Heath Shopping Centre is a weekly safe, welcoming space for people
aged 65 and over who may be feeling lonely or socially isolated.

Loneliness is one of the biggest challenges facing older adults today. Many live alone, have limited
social contact, or simply need a friendly face and a place to belong.

Our Companionship Café offers:

  • Friendly conversation and connection
  • Tea, cake, and community
  • Hot drinks and refreshments
  • Cakes and treats
  • Activities that encourage conversation
  • Dedicated volunteers to welcome and chat with guests

Every donation — big or small — helps ensure no older person in Locks Heath feels alone.
Together, we can create a warm space where friendships grow and smiles return.

Thank you for helping us bring companionship, comfort, and community to those who need it most.
