What’s On in South Manchester and Urmston: Social Activities for Older Adults in 2025–26

Good health isn’t just about the body — it’s about the heart and mind too. That’s why we value social connection just as much as physical care.

At Home Instead South Manchester, we believe staying socially connected is just as important as staying physically well. Whether it’s joining a choir, getting crafty, or simply enjoying a cuppa with good company, local activities can bring joy, friendship and purpose to everyday life.

That’s why we’ve helped put together a What’s On Where Guide — a collection of clubs, sessions and events happening across South Manchester, Urmston, and Stretford. To give you a head start, here are a few standout activities from the guides that we think are worth checking out:

🎨 Art for Wellbeing – Burnage Community Centre
