Home Instead South Cheshire Partners with The Thursday Club for Time For a Cuppa Fundraiser

Home Instead South Cheshire is delighted to be partnering with the Thursday Club for this year’s Time for a Cuppa fundraiser in support of Dementia UK . On Thursday 2nd July, we will be joining members of the Thursday Club for a special morning of tea, cake, conversation, and community spirit, all while raising vital funds for Dementia UK and the incredible work carried out by their Admiral Nurses.

Time for a Cuppa is Dementia UK’s annual fundraising event, bringing people together over a cup of tea to raise awareness of dementia and support families affected by the condition. At Home Instead South Cheshire, we see first-hand the impact dementia can have on individuals and their loved ones, making this cause particularly close to our hearts.

The Thursday Club has long been a valued part of the local community, providing friendship, support and social opportunities for people living with dementia and their families. We are proud to be collaborating with them on this event and helping to create an enjoyable morning where people can connect, share experiences, and contribute to an important cause.

This year, we are also opening the event up to the wider community and would love local residents to join us. Whether you’re supporting a loved one with dementia, want to learn more about the condition, or simply wish to support a fantastic cause, we warmly invite you to drop in, enjoy a cuppa and a slice of cake, and help raise funds for Dementia UK. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help provide specialist support to families facing the challenges of dementia.

Funds raised through Time for a Cuppa help Dementia UK provide specialist support through their network of Admiral Nurses. These dementia specialists offer practical advice, emotional support, and guidance to families navigating every stage of dementia.

At Home Instead South Cheshire, we are passionate about supporting people living with dementia to remain independent, connected, and comfortable in their own homes. Working alongside community groups such as The Thursday Club enables us to strengthen local support networks, raise awareness, and bring people together in support for those affected by dementia.

We would like to thank the Thursday Club for welcoming us and helping make this event possible. We look forward to spending the morning together, meeting members of the local community, and supporting such a worthwhile cause.

We hope to see you there for a cup of tea, a chat, and the opportunity to make a real difference to families living with dementia. If you would like to learn more about the services Home Instead South Cheshire provides for people living with dementia and their families, please get in touch with our friendly team.

Together, we can make a difference for families living with dementia, one cup of tea at a time.
