It can be difficult to accept help with personal care from our loved ones, particularly those with more intimate or clinical needs. Our Care professional will be matched with you, will take time to get to know you, and will build a trusted relationship to ensure that your care and support is personal to you and carried out in the way you want. Our Care professionals are highly trained in providing personal care assistance, including support with moving and positioning, assisting with bathing or showering and continence care. We can also provide support with more clinical personal care activities such as catheter and stoma care, helping you to live your best life at home.
What we do to care for your loved ones
We offer two types of home care: hourly care, where we visit at set times, or live-in care, where a carer resides in the home. Both are overseen by our care management team and delivered by compassionate Care Professionals. Each care package is made up of a unique mix of services to meet your needs.

The service and support provided to date have been excellent, and the staff have all been very caring, friendly and reliable. There seems to be good supervision of the team, and the mobile app is very helpful in providing reassurance (when you do not live close by) that everything is okay.
We would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead South to anyone with elderly parents who need assistance.

Our father was Mr independent and resisted help from anyone other than family until he met his two carers from Home Instead. They made his lunch the way he liked it, listened patiently to his stories and cheerfully kept his house (and him) neat and tidy.
